A FAMILY-RUN FLOWER FARM

Nestled on the outskirts of the charming historic market town of Baldock, The Baldock Flower Farm was founded with love and a passion for sustainable, seasonal flowers by Johanna Brown in 2015.

Our flower farm is a vibrant tapestry of colours, textures, and fragrances. We take pride in growing a wide range of flowers, within the British growing season that spans from April to October. Our commitment to sustainability is unwavering – each bloom is cultivated with care, handpicked to order to ensure the utmost freshness.

Beyond being a source of beautiful blooms, our flower farm serves as a haven for local wildlife. Embracing a harmonious approach to cultivation, we strive to create a balanced ecosystem that fosters biodiversity and nurtures the natural world around us.

We believe in transparency and sustainability. By selling our flowers directly to you, we eliminate the need for long-distance transportation. This not only ensures the freshness of our blooms but also reduces our environmental footprint, aligning with our commitment to leave a positive impact on the world we live in.

MEET JOHANNA

I have loved flowers since I was a little girl, and I am a self-confessed ‘flowerholic’. Some of my earliest memories are being asked by my Mum to pick sweet peas from the garden or being asked what I would like to do when I left School? I would always reply ‘as long as I had a wheelbarrow I didn’t mind’.

The impact that flowers have had in my own life led to my exciting career change and the creation of the Baldock Flower Farm in 2015. I am now privileged to be able to have a great career doing what I love every day and sharing my passion with others.

I truly believe that great flowers can make someone’s day. At the Baldock Flower Farm, no two stems are ever the same. We pride ourselves on being unique, and that's something that I am very proud of.
